Thanks for sharing your stories from small places. Even though you question yourself what I can sense is that you are a very caring physician who works always to do the best for your patients and keeps learning how to do better. Thinking of a referral I have had recently which involved a lost referral and months of waiting and turned out to be to the wrong type of specialist who worked in almost a 'factory' type atomosphere is a city (why did he/or staff not check out the referral details before) - and now more waiting for finally the correct specialist for a fairly urgent need .. .... I think a lot has been lost in caring these days! not always though - some excellent people still around
